365 days, 383 Zentangle posts!
Creating a Zentangle is a surprising process, I am sure many of us experience different feelings. To me it's about stopping to breathe with thought, taking time to form deliberate strokes but choose to feel free in the moment but I think most of all it's been about appreciation!
I value the time put aside each day to tangle. Grateful for all the unexpected, inspiring and thoughtful comments. Thankful for the beautiful new friendships from across the world.
I appreciate this wonderful Zentangle method of creating art which appears like magic! My daily ritual has taught me not to be concerned about making a mistake or worried about what's right or wrong, quite often I actually hear myself saying "Oh, it doesn't matter!" What may be a mishap to me might be quite okay to someone else.
I feel that drawing in the Zentangle style has helped me be more calm, flexible and realise everything will turn out right in the end.
All of us are at different stages in our lives and it's easy to be judgmental at what we should or could be doing but I find in the world of Zentangle everyone is so positive and kind hearted. Everyday there is something to smile about and enjoy!
Hugs and thank you for following and stopping by my blog! I appreciate you all!

WOW! Congratulations! We are so looking forward to meeting you hopefully in October, when the leaves are turning and the air is fresh. To meet a goal such as yours is a big deal. It always seems to be a good idea to announce (to the WORLD, no less) that you are going to do something everyday for a year, but who amongst us could actually do it? Bravo. And I love what you wrote about your experiences and how Zentangle has affected your life and attitudes. I feel the same way! but you put it so eloquently. Thank you. Maria (and Rick)
