Weekly Challenge #129: String Theory v. XXV:
Tangle Patterns String #004
The Diva has chosen a string design from Linda's Tangle Patterns collection for this week. Strings are a wonderful foundation or guide for our tangles to sit or weave around the edges, often my tangles creep over the line or sweep into another section. I always enjoy these string ideas because often the hardest thing to do is to just start, I love the limits of a string design and know I can cross over or trip the light fantastic and dance!
Great tiles, Shelly!
ReplyDeleteI'm going green with envy right now. ^^ Your tiles are beautiful, all three of th them. The combinations, the shading,...just stunning. I guess my favorite is the first one though because the string is disappearing in the flow of the patterns.
ReplyDeleteLovely tiles, great choice of tangles!
ReplyDeleteLove all three. The third one is my favourite! You have a great way with colour.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so gorgeous!! The third is my favorite, too--like a little tangle garden scene...lovely!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, Shelly. Love, love the first one!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful all three.
ReplyDeleteThere's always so much life and energy in your tiles. Just beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI always find so much inspiration in your work. I love all three of them, but the second one is awesome.
ReplyDeleteThese 3 are all gorgeous. They differ so much! My favorite is #3, it is so organic and string is hidden beautiful in the parts of your drawing. Great!
ReplyDeleteWow! All three are Grrreat! Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteAll three are beautiful! I keep looking at them again and again and....
ReplyDeleteWhat a great ensemble of tiles all using the same string. Very much lovely. I also love your verbal description of how to use a string; especially the part about tripping the light fantastic.
ReplyDeleteAll three tiles are brilliant! Each of them has a separate impression. My favorite is the first one. I love the little details in it!
ReplyDeleteAll are beautiful, what do I say, they are STUNNING! The first one is my absolut favorite.
ReplyDeleteAs always, your tiles are beautiful . The composition and the strong, precise lines are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Love how your designs flow and tangles merge into other tangles rather than abruptly ending :)
ReplyDeleteAll three of your tiles are just awesome! Love your choice of tangles and how you put them together. Great job!
ReplyDeleteWow, did you ever make the string sing!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty tiles, especially the third one.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI am in awe and aspire to weaving my patterns together one day like your tiles. The first is my favourite.
