For this weeks challenge (#94) from The Diva we are delving into the lovely lines of Erin's socc.
You can make this delightful tangle pull in tight and plump it out into a voluptuous roundish shape or pinch the ends for a bulb like effect.
Fun fun fun ...thanks Laura and Erin.
Very fun. I love how you added some little extra single puffs out there on the edge.
ReplyDeleteThis is the loveliest use of Socc I've seen so far :)
ReplyDeletePineapple socc. Looks good to me!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Love how you have changed the colour up for the bulbous socc on tile 2. so clever to echo the pattern in tripoli, too!
ReplyDeleteLike the color and the use of Tripoli with the same pattern.
ReplyDeleteThis tangle is beautiful toghether with Tripoli (the tangle I still have not mastered).
ReplyDeleteGreat work.
How wonderful are the ins and outs of your Socc patterning!
ReplyDeleteBeautifull, escpecially the second one, where all the use tangles look like socc. Very creative.
ReplyDeleteLove your tiles. The first reminds me of a little bug and the second one, I see a camp fire.
ReplyDeleteHi Shelly! I've been admiring your work for a couple years now and am subbed through google reader. Also a contact on flickr. Which is what my question is about...I see you aren't posting your photos over there much anymore. Was wondering if you could share your process for sharing your pix on your blog these days? Are you uploading directly to blogspot? I am still bogging there myself but don't love it. I'm looking to streamline my process for sharing my art online and hope you have some great info to share! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteHi Trish, thank you, yes with the large ZIAs (that don't fit in my scanner) I take them to a photocopy shop where they scan them with a professional scanner onto a disc then I upload them to my blog. There is so much to learn! When I was creating a Zentangle every day I loved using flickr but I was spending hours on the computer commenting so I decided to concentrate on just one site. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your tiles are fantastic. You draw Socc so well.
