For Laura's weekly challenge we are using the same string...straight lines drawn diagonally then across and down.
In the 1st tile I just started without really thinking to much about swirls or circles just lines, then my creativity kicked in and I had to tangle some more. I love the concept that you can start a Zentangle without a plan, then it's not long before a spark is fired and ideas go pop. Good fun!
Very nice! Beautiful balance in the first, and springtime cheer in the second!
ReplyDeleteThe first tile is a brilliant mix of tangles but for mr the second tile is just superb.I just adore the way it flows together.
ReplyDeleteIt's very difficult to make something special with this string, but you did it !
ReplyDeleteOooh, I'm adding your second tile to my "examples" folder. You've done a really nice job with some tangles that I find challenging.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the second tile! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour tiles showing geometrical and then organic are outstanding!
ReplyDeleteI really like the collection of patterns you have used . This is lovely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, as always. Your second one reminds me of something Maria would have done. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love them both, but the second one is my favorite. That is exactly what I wish I could have done. Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteWow shelly, you did a great job on this challenge!
ReplyDeleteI love the top one for the depth you go, but the second one is really special! It could be a note card design!
ReplyDeleteThe first tile has explosive energy. the second tile is a flowing garden. Both are great. Diana
