Size A4
I usually like to stay with the official Zentangle colours of black and white but Poke-root just seems call out for some red!

Oh, this is a really special piece, Shelly! (It might end up on my screensaver... as have others of your A4 pieces [grin].) You're a constant source of inspiration! :)
ReplyDeleteJust saw your comment on my blog, Michele... yay!! We'd love to see you. Bring loads of tiles with you - I know you don't have very many to choose from (joking!) - and I'd love to see one of those A4 pieces in person too! [bounce] Hugs, Kit
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a garden with flowers and fruit. Loveley!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful mass of tangles! I don't know if there's shading that's too faint to show well, or if there isn't any, but if it's not there, you should try it. I think it would make this piece even more spectacular!

Oh Michele, this is so beautiful! I love the red all through the piece-so very pretty!
ReplyDeleteLayered and lumpy and luscious - oh my! Another real beauty and the red thread is a very significant piece of folklore in China, where one of my nieces began her life before parents...
ReplyDeleteStunning – I´m sitting here and look at this beautiful tile, forgetting time and space…
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! There is a small amount of shading Margaret but it doesn't show up very well perhaps it needs a bit more.
