Groovy

The Diva's Challenge #69 for this week is a tangle by Eden at Cut'n It Up. You can really get into the groove with this fabulously named tangle...groovy. It sure is groovy by name groovy by nature. I love the easy flow, thanks Eden and Laura.

  2. Ooh, in love all the patterns squeezed into the wavy outlines, how excellent. Those first two rows of variation do sort of look like eyes looking at me... A very interesting effect! I too have noticed how Inapod plays well with Groovy, they have some of the same rhythm to them. An excellent study, thanks for sharing.

  4. I'm not ready to work in color yet but this is pretty cool. Reminds me of a squishy cable-knit sweater.

  9. I think this tangle was made for you and your tile reflects it. Beautiful! I like how you have doubled the number of lines used in groovy to create that "knit" look.

  16. This is awesome. I really like how you kept the groovy shape, but added other tangles inside towards the edges. Also like your use of color. When I do that, I don't like the result. Wonder what your secret is? Lovely!

  17. Stunning! I love your idea of merging other tangles into the main design and you've chosen such clever tangles that work into it so well. And as usual, I love your use of color - always just the right amount in the right place. I always admire your work!
