The Diva's Weekly Challenge #262: "UMT - Fassett by Lynn Mead"
For our fassett challenge I decided to try 3 different looks.
The 1st one is a renaissance tile with a couple of breakaways. The 2nd is sparkly on a black tile. The 3rd, I rounded the corners of the triangles and randomly squashed them together, the background is a layer of colour with a Copic marker called skin white and shading with a (peach) Prismacolor pencil.
Thank you Lynn for fabulous fasset!
Those are all so lovely. Your little thread bits are fun;-)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a lovely tangle to work with?
ReplyDeleteLove how you combined the first one with crescent moon.
I keep going through these and trying to pick my favourite - but I love them all. Even the fleshy pink one which isn't a colour I'd usually go for. Such a light touch you have! I am wowed!
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with Crescent Moon in the first one!!!!
ReplyDeleteThree beautiful tiles! I really love what you did on the first one. You're style is so pretty and lovely!
ReplyDeleteAll so beautiful - all so very distinctively your work, Michele. Love them. Axxx
ReplyDeleteAll are great but I do have a favorite - #1. The way you did the lines, coupled with the dark center gives the fasset stars such volume! You teach me so much! I thank my lucky stars for you so often.
ReplyDeleteAll three are so great at using this tangle. Really beautifully illustrated. I especially enjoyed the colored one at the end. It was flushed with just enough warm hues to make it seem alive! Happy spring to you! Sarah.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, al of them. I ame fan!Great
ReplyDeleteShelley, can always count on something great from you!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? Of course all of them are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work on all! So lovely!
ReplyDeleteAll three of them are wonderful
ReplyDeleteFabulous Fasset Fest you've got going here. Love your "breakaway" and your Peach "Masher" is just luscious!
ReplyDeleteI love the third tile, your choice of delicate colors, it's what I love in ZIA
ReplyDeleteOh these are beautiful! I love the loopy border treatment on the top one, and as usual, the last one is finished off like a restaurant dish with a drizzle of something intensely flavored - that little flick of the wrist you give to your designs is so amazing and so trademark Shelly!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteLike the highlighting in the Renaissance tile. The black tile. The tangle really stands out. Kind of glows.
ReplyDeleteReal eye-catchers these Fassett tiles of yours - they won't let go! ❤️👁
