Ooops!

Renaissance pre-strung Zendala with gold highlights and gems.

But oops! Can you see the missing piece? I have certainly learnt that it really doesn't matter if one side is different than the other. Just smile!

  1. It's beautiful and took me a long time to find the missing piece. I would never of known had you not said.

  2. Your tile is absolutely gorgeous, I agree with you and instead of thinking of it as an oops you could think of it as a 'Whoopee' - as defined in the dictionary as a word used to express happiness because you have created an interesting puzzle to play at the same time.

    1. What a great idea! It took me a while to find the whoopee, too! I always try to remember the idea behind the Navajo blankets, where the weaver always leaves a small whoopee, as a reminder that perfection only exists in the divine.

    2. Whoopee! Gotta love the Navajo weavers, that is such a super message.

  3. I took a really long time to find it, and wouldn't have noticed it without you mentioning it. I think this is a good example of "don't point out the 'whoops' and no one will know it even exists". hahaha ^-^

  4. Love it! I like the Whoopee description for it! It didn't show right away, either. And it doesn't distract from the finished piece. Love it.

  5. It took a little while to find it, but I agree with the above...had you not pointed it out, it would not have been noticed. Pretty zendala!

  7. LOVELY surround for your gems!! They are certainly the show-stoppers on this Zendala. (What "ooops"? I see no "ooops"! ;)
