The top one makes me think of donuts, but then, there are times when ANYTHING makes me think of donuts! Or is it sort of space age? And the second one hints at an open window looking out onto a tropical garden. (A window with the best curtains I have ever seen!) As always, I need to go away and try this - although, for now, that circle is way beyond me.
Wow. You certainly mastered this tangle. I really like both of them, but the first one is actually kind of mind blowing #1 because you were able to control and use this tangle in the round and #2 because as I look at it, my mind's eye is seeing different patterns from the same tangle.
I think these are stupendous. I run out of adjectives after awhile. "Swell" is one of my old favorites. I would like to say you thought "outside the box' but maybe that's pushing it?
These are both stunning. I love box in the round, it does look like a donut as Donald said above. The second tile with it's pops of color is just loads of fun to me. Beautiful work as always!
Very pretty tiles, Shelly.
ReplyDeleteThe round piece is stunning.
ReplyDeleteWow! #2 is great, but the first is awesome! Love that you took the straight lines and made it round and 3D!
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful. I haven't tried this tangle yet so these are inspirational. Wow.

ReplyDeleteI love your round tile. It's just fantastic.
ReplyDeleteGreat effect the round version of "all boxed up"
ReplyDeleteWow, two great tiles. The round one seems impossible to do with this tangle, but you managed to make it look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I love the inner ring In the first one - beautiful all boxed up! Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteYour All Boxed Up in the round is a stunning tile. It has so much depth and rounding.

ReplyDeleteI love that you circled the square and squared the circle... oppositional defiance? Both are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful, the first one has such great depth in it!
ReplyDeleteYou never cease to amaze! Both of these are stunning and so original! LOVE THEM!
ReplyDeleteBoth are absolutely gorgeous and creative!

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful, the donut is great :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the doughnut, and the square on the circle. Terrific!

Really like the round one. Is appropriate for today as in the states it is Nat'l Donut Day. Like the color in the second one.
