Well is swell! I am happy The Diva has chosen the new official tangle well as our challenge this week. It's great that we can add our own spin to tangles. I just added an extra aura around the petal shapes and pleased with the way it turned out.
We have left the dust and heat of the desert behind and enjoying the coolness of The Blue Mountains.
Katy gave me this beautiful book with gorgeous handmade paper. |

Beautiful work, but really? I can't even see how you started with well. I just can't wrap my mind around it! Well done, Shelley style. (Must go try this...)
ReplyDeleteAs usual, I look to your work as inspiration and I am always lifted by what I see. This one is no exception. Beautiful piece. It's a wonderful and versatile pattern to work with.
ReplyDeleteOh, we have the 'Blue Mountains' in Ontario as well. They are near Collingwood, my late mom's home town. My cousin who lives there, is a piper and has named her new pipe band 'Blue Mountains' but in Gaelic!Nice to see your vacation photos!!!
Oh, thank you. I would love to see your Blue Mountains.
DeleteBoth are wonderful! Especially I like the second one very much! The handmade paper is lovely and your drawing absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYet another lovely piece, the second one.
ReplyDeleteGreetings. LOVE your tangles. Wow. What color pen did you use?
ReplyDeleteThank you! The pens are Micron sepia in 01 and 05.
DeleteBoth are great. Each has its own unique flow. Love how you soften grids.

ReplyDeleteShelly, as usual, WONDERFUL! I love seeing color with tangles from time to time, but my favorite is always sepia with black. The two together just make for such a really nice feeling. Your tangles with the two colors are my favorite!! You gift is such an inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pieces! The second one is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThe view looks fantastic, as do your gorgeous tangles!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your works are so inspiring! It also looks like you have a lovely new book to work in. The paper looks luscious!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful pieces! I just love what you did with Well. I had to really look closely to see how you put it together. It's truly amazing.
