Linking circles gives you a starting and finishing point, it helps with an even look. Start tangling at the cross over line and continue around. Tripoli triangles, purk and zander fit well into a circular string. I love the 'peeping through, over and under' aspect of Zentangle.

This piece with the linking circles is really inspirational - now I'm going to look up tripoli and zander as I don't remember them ever looking so fantastic. I love how you always seem to have just the right amount of sepia or color too. Eye-candy for sure.
