Dewd as a border on a tan Zendala tile. For a bit of glamour I added touches of gold with a Gelly Roll pen.

I just enjoyed 2 great days with Karen. The Creative Miss L, it was our annual catch up, chatting, drinking tea and tangling together. We started in the centre of our Opus tiles with an emerald which is her birthstone. The border came out completely different than we expected but isn't that the beauty of Zentangle, go with the flow and be surprised when it's finished?

Yes, I have decided to go back to the start and work through Primer Vol. 1. I'm looking forward to calmly and mindfully re-connecting to the basic principles of Zentangle.

Mandala

I remember my Mum saying "Blue and green should never be seen unless there's another colour in between'.

So I popped in some orange! 

Actually I love blue and green together!

Update: I just looked up birthstones for August and to my surprise it's Peridot, therefore that little green gem sits happily in the centre. 
Happy Birthday to everyone born in August!!

It's wintery and raining here in Tassie, I have battened down the hatches, the fire is creating a warm cosy glow. It's a perfect day for playing with my pens, watercolour pencils and a white Opus tile.
This piece grew from the circle in the centre of rumpus .
