The Diva's
Weekly Challenge #260: "Monotangle: Shattuck"
To start with, relaxing curvy lines in between curvy lines on a Renaissance tile then curves in between straight lines with a dash of colour then just for fun mooka as a string and a splash of gold.
Beautiful I really like the renaissance tiles ( I wished they called it something else I'm rubbish at spelling it) maybe I will get around to trying them out one day 😊
ReplyDeleteAll three are beautiful, but I love the one with Mooka and the gold.
ReplyDeleteI love all three, the central one is unusual. Lovely colours
ReplyDeleteVery fine indeed! I like the way you have closed the Mooka off at the bottom; drawing it open drives me mad. The last is my favorite as well.
ReplyDeleteThat bothered me too! But I actually found a way to properly close Mooka.

It just goes to show how each pattern can be versatile, well, if the artist has as much imagination as you.
ReplyDeleteI love the gold Shattuck! It seems like you filled in the background with black and then added the gold Shatuuck... Gotta' have to try that soon. :)
ReplyDeleteAll so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFabulous work as always!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pieces! I love that Mooka tile especially. I agree with the comments about how you finish off Mooka, your resolution is so perfectly elegant.
ReplyDeleteCan't decide which one I prefer. I like the subtle white highlighting on the Renaissance tile but also like the color in the second one. Reminds me of a pillow. Always enjoy your work.
ReplyDeleteSuch great ideas...such beautiful tiles!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous work, #3 with Mooka is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the first tile. I like the black vs brown and how the brown extends over the top of the black.
ReplyDeleteThe Mooka is magnificent! I think my favorite is the first, which is simple, yet elegant. You manage to make so much with so little :) Great string, great colors and highlights.
ReplyDeleteAll are Awesome! Shattuck with Mooka is especially inspired!
