Weekly Challenge #117: "New Official
Tangle: Schway"
It took me a few attempts to get the feel of schway because of the straight lines. I love curvy lines that don't have to be exact but with schway you have to be a bit more even but you can also break out and stretch the arrows. It has a great look and is very clever and effective. Thanks Rick schway is a stunner!!
Perfect mixture of patterns to achieve interesting, outstanding, gorgeous tiles!
ReplyDeleteYour tiles are stunning, too!
ReplyDeleteLove these tiles Michele!!!
ReplyDeleteLove how the round meet the straight
ReplyDeleteThree totally different tiles, and they all are so nice.
ReplyDeleteI think i's difficult to make something special with Schway but you did it!
Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteI really like the last one, pretty dramatic with the increasing size of the arrows and white accents. Love it, michelle :)
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely, but that last one is really striking!!!! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteAll are brilliant compositions. I enjoy seeing them
ReplyDeleteThey are all three gorgeous. But I can see the progression you made only by presenting these 3 tiles. The first one is very straight, and I have to admit thats not my thing, I like weavy and curly style. In the next 2 tiles you turn them into less straight lines and more curvy elements with it wich makes it so your style as if you are using this tangle all the time. Love that about all your tiles. They look as if they are a part of you.
ReplyDeleteThe 3rd one is my favorite. The arrows are really bursting out of something to get freedom!
Great assortment. I like the angles in the first one. The 'tail' in the second, and the way you did schway in the third!
ReplyDeleteA+ll fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI adore the third. Beautiful combination of patterns.
ReplyDeleteLove them, shelly :)
ReplyDeleteAll of your tiles are amazing,as usual! Gosh, I can't wait to see what you do next week. :)
ReplyDeleteBe happy,

ReplyDeleteAll three beautiful, but the third one is really stunning!
ReplyDeleteYou made so many variations!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the third one.
Really creative uses of the tangle! And the red on the last tile is a great touch.
ReplyDeleteSchway really deserved the little "investment" to feel comfortable with it, wonderful things happened!!
ReplyDeleteAll three are great, love how you made it your own curvy wonder!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, shelly :) Love how you have fitted schway into your unique style :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Your style is always so uniquely yours - organic, beautifully drawn, inspiring...
