The Diva's Weekly Challenge #196: All Dolled Up
Emily Classon has shared her paper doll dress ups this week. Thanks Emily, yes when I was young I loved making paper dolls and clothes with my cousin on the summer holidays. We would spend hours designing, drawing and making up stories.
(Just having a chuckle at her droopy breasts!!)
Very nice doll - I like the red hair and the wonderful dress she has :-)
ReplyDeleteThe waves of the hair and dress are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely !
ReplyDeleteShe looks a bit 1960's to me, with that Georgie Girl look to her. I think you really nailed the challenge with this one.
ReplyDeleteHer dress reminds be of a bunny I made for daughter one Easter ( the theme was black and white). Very pretty doll and I wouldn't have taken them for breasts until you said so :).
ReplyDeleteA very endearing, beautiful doll. So well attired, and wise in her countenance. Love your pattern work, Shelly.
ReplyDeleteI like this doll with the cute Printemps hair.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, I love this.
ReplyDeleteWonderful choice of patterns. Great challenge tile!
ReplyDeleteThose curly hairs are so pretty :-)
ReplyDeleteShe's wonderful like all of your work...and holding such a lovely bouquet as well. A very creative dolly!
ReplyDeleteGreat doll, love the chosen tangle for her dress. Great curly hair and spreading her arms wide open ready to embrace and hug everyone who is visiting her :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice :)
ReplyDeleteThe waves in the dress are fantastic, and that wild hair is fun.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have her red curly hair.
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice her "breasts" until you pointed it out and you made me laugh. It sure was fun to go down memory lane with this challenge. I used to make my own clothes for my paper dolls too. She's a beauty, especially her hair!
ReplyDeleteLes effets d'ombre et de lumière sur la robe me plaisent beaucoup.
ReplyDeleteI like very much The effects of light and shadow on the dress.
Ha - she must be my age! So cute and the patterns are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour little redheaded dolly is adorable, and the dress is perfect for her. I didn't even think of that when I first saw it, but you know how it is when you reach a "certain age". So much fun!
ReplyDeleteShelly, I LOVE her! You've done a beautiful job. I think she looks a little like me with the crazy, curly, red hair and droopy boobs. :-) Your tangles have such a whimsical flow to them. Love love love! Thank you for playing with my challenge this week. :-)
