Weekly Challenge #129: String Theory v. XXV:
Tangle Patterns String #004
The Diva has chosen a string design from Linda's Tangle Patterns collection for this week. Strings are a wonderful foundation or guide for our tangles to sit or weave around the edges, often my tangles creep over the line or sweep into another section. I always enjoy these string ideas because often the hardest thing to do is to just start, I love the limits of a string design and know I can cross over or trip the light fantastic and dance!

Crazy about a little green
We have had just the right amount of winter rain so the lawns are green, the bulbs are sprouting and the wattle is beginning to bloom.

Cirquital with Opus
Weekly Challenge #127: "DuoTangle v. VII:
Cirquital/Opus"
The Diva has chosen two tangles for us this week, opus which is in many of my pieces, I enjoy sending the swirls out in different directions and cirquital which I should play with more often.
It's been a busy week so I am looking forward to settling down in front of the fire tonight to browse the challenge sites and enjoy seeing all the artistic creations.

Kookaburra
It is winter school holidays here in Tasmania so Heidi (10) and Samuel (8) have been for a sleep over. Even in winter the Kookaburras sit high in the gum trees laughing at us.
Heidi and Samuel helped me tangle this Kookaburra while we waited for the day to warm up enough for a bush walk.

Inspired by Ernst
Art Forms in Nature by Ernst Haeckel is listed on the Bibliography page in The Book of Zentangle. It has also been recommended by many enthusiastic tanglers and my new tangling friend Rose. So I thought it was time to purchase the book and I am so pleased I did as it is full of sensational patterns and designs.
Happy weekend and tangle happy!
