Flushed with Fiddly Bits

Flushed with fiddly bits is my way of saying "there's a bit to much going on there!"
Does that mean ...I didn't know when to stop or I was just having to much fun? Like when you have that extra glass of wine and you know you're talking to much but you just laugh without a care. It doesn't really matter anyway...what's a extra tangle between friends!!

For The Diva's challenge this week I couldn't resist some lovely earthy colours.

It's a perfect autumn day here in Tasmania and we are very fortunate to have a beautiful spot in Launceston to walk (just 15 min from the centre of the city) and enjoy lunch with friends......this is where I am going for lunch today...aahh!

Star Shine Star Bright

Yesterday morning I woke to hear the devastating news of the bomb blasts in Boston during the marathon. It was such a sad way to start the day with lives lost and many injured on what was to be a celebration of freedom.
Then came some brightness with the Diva's challenge. I love to see the star appear in auraknot so here is my star in a star and another star with a cup of tea.

Help in the garden

We have a corner of our garden which has had a few remakes over the years. There was a frog pond for a while which was great in the spring for catching tadpoles but the water would dry up and then it just looked like a sad hole in the ground. This last week has been perfect gardening weather so with the our son Joshua's help and a bit of decision making we now have a relaxing spot for a campfire and to watch the sunsets.

Tuxedo

Every week LeeAnn treats us with fantastic tangling so I was excited when The Diva's challenge #112 presented us with LeeAnn's tangle tuxedo.  Once I found my rhythm it flowed with lovely loopy lines to form a fancy lace effect.
