It's funny that in my last post (here) my ZIA was all circles made up from tripoli so with The Diva's challenge I decided to stay with the same line of thinking and do more triangles in the circle string.
The renaissance zendala tiles are a treat to tangle on.

Tangles, Knots, Loose Ends
Tripoli starts with triangles shaped to form a circle, instead of building on the circles with more triangles I scattered the circles and filled them in with different designs.
From there the fun continued with knots and ties to connect them all together.

Five tiles
Earlier this week Maria wrote a fabulous article on blog Zentangle (you can read it here) about appreciating our art and not to worry about achieving that perfect piece. It truly doesn't matter if a line kinks or a circle blobs, those little imperfections can add a quirky touch, there is a lovely freedom in that.
So tangle on a tile, toss the tension, feel the tingle of appreciation, pop it in a card and give away with a smile.

Tornado
Our news programs have been showing the whirl of devastation and chaos caused by tornados crossing the US. My thoughts are with those who live in the path of these tornados.
I didn't plan to depict a disaster scene as I have never been through that kind of turmoil and destruction but I think a tornado can be seen sweeping across the page.
